Rambha Biography
Rambha was born as Vijayalakshmi on 5th June, 1972 to Usha Rani and Venkateswara Rao in Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. Rambha has worked with many superstars in Bollywood as well as South Indian film industry. She has played the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi, Rajnikanth, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty, Kamal Hassan and Govinda, among others.
Her first Malayalam film ‘Sargam’ was released in the year 1992. Directed by T. Hariharan, ‘Sargam’ starred Rambha alongside Vineeth and Nedumudi Venu. Rambha next appeared in Telugu film ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’ and Kadhir’s Tamil film ‘Uzhavan’ alongside Prabhu Ganesan and Bhanupriya. Since then Rambha has appeared in over 100 films of different genres and in different languages.
